There are many drugs abused here in Singapore. They are mainly, Heroin, Opium, Morphine, Cannabis, Cocaine, Ectasy, Ice, Methamphetamine, Ketamine, Depressants, Inhalants and Flunitrazepam. There are many withdrawal symptoms to recognize if we or others are drug abusers. Drugs affect the human body in many ways which are painful and in some cases, deadly. The most dangerous of all are the inhalants. Inhalants are glue and all that. People who sniff or consume these inhalants periodically will suffer from memory loss, inability to think, have easy bleeding and bruising, cause damage to their central nervous system, cause kidney and liver damage, cause stomach and urinary pains. They also will suffer from coughing and muscular cramps. The next deadliest is ‘ice’. Ice causes the consumer to suffer from hallucinations, liver and kidney damage, damage to the heart, loss of weight, impotency, severe convulsions, stroke and even death. Next is ectasy. Increased blood pressure and pulse rate, false feelings of confidence and closeness with others, sweating, dehydration, convulsions, jaw clenching and teeth grinding, vomiting and anxiety, paranoid feelings: extreme fear and anxiety, uncontrollable movements are the effects of this drug. It’s manufactured illegally in laboratories. Then comes Ketamine. This drug causes the consumer to suffer from hallucination, it alters the sensation, mood and consciousness, distorts hearing, touch, smell, taste and visual sensation. Finally it causes nausea and vomiting. Depressants. They cause anxiety, increased heart rate, distorted eyesight, violent convulsions and insomnia. Heroin, opium and cannabis have the same effects on their consumers. Aches and spasms, stomach cramps and convulsions, shaking and vomiting, running nose, watery eyes, loss of appetite and diarrhea are the effects. Loss of concentration, increased heart rate, poor balance and co-ordination, anxiety or panic, depression, confusion and hallucination are the effects of cannabis or marijuana. Cocaine causes hallucinations, increased heart rate and blood pressure, insomnia, depression, fear and anxiety and loss of appetite and weight. Consumption of methamphetamine tablets cause increased heart beat, dehydration, gives the person a paranoid feeling, causes sweating, insomnia, depression, irritatibility and stroke. Finally, Flunitrazepam causes loss of memory, loss of muscle control, dizziness, weakness and loss of consciousness. All these drugs share a similar goal. To destroy the human’s body. Everyone should be aware of the dangers these drugs cause. There are other drugs which are little known as danger and they are cigarettes and alcohol. Alcohol can cause damage to the liver and kidney and to the brain too. Cigarettes and tobacco also cause damage to the lungs and both result in death. All the drugs alter the mind of the consumer and they will react differently. It may be seen as ‘the way out’ but surely there are other ways of expressing pain and anger. There is such a thing as ‘passive’ smoking which means that the person who is breathing in tobacco smoke is also a smoker unknowingly. Drugs also give the consumer a sense of responsibility, for them to control themselves when they are in possession of a drug. Take for example, smoking. It’s the smoker’s responsibility to make sure that he or she smokes in a place where nobody is affected. Drug consumers can also abuse family members or loved ones, in the end bringing fate upon themselves. So in conclusion I would like to say that I shall never do drugs after reading this essay I have made.

its 1300 and i feel like describing the guy yesterday cause my darling cheryl asked me to.
